Who we are
Paul McCarty - I received my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Resource Management from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo. I am a Registered Environmental Health Specialist with 9 years experience as a regulator with a Northern California Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA). I have been on the regulatory side of inspections including, hazardous materials business plan, hazardous waste, hazardous waste treatment, underground storage tank, aboveground petroleum storage act (APSA), and the California Accidental Release Program (CalARP). I have presented at the annual CUPA conference, been the Northern California Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Chair, and been a member of the APSA Advisory Committee with the Office of the State Fire Marshal. I have been asked to speak at several Automotive Service Association meetings. Now it is time for me to help facilities navigate California’s hazardous materials and hazardous waste laws and regulations.
